At JD Williams, we’re turning that on its head. We’ve partnered with Carol Vorderman and a cast of inspiring midlife women to redefine the term as Midlife Is Living Fearlessly - a celebration of confidence, freedom, and the unapologetic joy that comes with owning who you are.

We sat down with six empowering women - including two of our very own JDW Rewards customers, Jayne and Sarah - to talk about feeling desirable, confident, and free in a world that still loves to tell women what they should or shouldn’t be. “I feel that because there’s so much knowledge and so much life experience, I think that’s what gives you that little sexy feeling that the younger people can’t have yet. They’ll get there, but they can’t have it now.”

“I define being sexy in midlife as basically just being comfortable in your own skin. I think if you’re comfortable, then that shows in you in general.”

“I’m over that adolescent teenage stuff of being self-conscious and comparing myself to others. It’s a case of ‘this is me’. What you see is what you get. Warts and all, wobbly bits and all and everything. And I am just owning it.”
